This system is now active. It provides a free venue for Buyers and Sellers who wish to make transactions via an auction environment. Please note that Air Qwest neither regulates nor monitors any user posted items and makes no claim as to the accuracy of any information contained in USER SUBMITTED postings. As with any on-line auction venue, Bidders and Sellers should use caution to protect themselves against potential misrepresentation by parties who post or bid on items for auction on this site.
Important Notices:
You must register in order to post and bid on items for auction on this system. Registration is required to track bids and put Buyers and Sellers in contact with one another at the close of an auction. New users should click on the "New Registration" option at the bottom of the following page in order to post or bid on items for auction.
Air Qwest's On-line Auction System provides a number of item categories related to aviation and one for non-aviation items as well. Click here to review our terms and conditions for items posted by Air Qwest under the Aircraft category.
Sellers, please note that by placing an item up for bid you are making a contract between you and the Buyer. Once you place an item, you may not retract it and you must sell it for the highest bid that meets or exceeds your Reserve Price (if any). Be careful that you set your Reserve Price properly. Leaving the Reservice Price field set to $0 on the Post New Item screen will mark the item as a No Reserve Auction - that is, it will sell to the highest bidder regardless of the bid amount. Please be sure to specify the terms and conditions of your sale (e.g. who's responsible for shipping, when payment is required, what types of payment you will accept, etc.). Leaving these details off your listing will confuse the issue for Buyers and may make them less likely to bid on your item. If you are uncertain as to whether you wish to sell an item, do not post it for auction!
Bidders, please note that by placing a bid you are making a contract between you and the Seller. Once you place a bid, you may not retract it. In some states, it is illegal to win an auction and not purchase the item. If the Seller's terms and conditions (e.g. shipping, payment methods, etc.) are not clear, you may contact the seller via email by clicking on the link (Seller's Name) within the listing. If you do not intend to meet your obligations under this contract, do not bid on the item!
